What makes awareness important?
Awareness of what is happening inside of ourselves: our minds, our hearts, our bodies, and our spirits helps us shift our focus. It can help us clarify what is happening. It assists us in differentiating our thoughts from our feelings from our body sensations.
Awareness is like a temperature check.
Taking time to notice and name your thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations can become a practice to help you get to know yourself better.
